Snowparks Alpe di Siusi

A dream for freestylers

On the Alpe di Siusi you’ll find the Alpe di Siusi Snowpark (King Laurin), one of the largest and best parks in the Dolomites – 1.5 km long, with several lines and perfectly shaped obstacles. The offer is complemented by the seven fun and family stations of the Alpe di Siusi Ronda: kids’ fun park, family/easy line, self-timer and speed runs, plus themed spots inspired by the witches’ world. This way both freestylers and families get plenty of variety.

The Alpe di Siusi Snowpark is one of the best-known freestyle spots in the Dolomites and is set in a sunny position on the plateau – perfect for training and chilling. Over roughly 1.5 kilometres you’ll find several lines for different levels: from beginner and medium lines to kicker and rail sections for advanced riders. The park is shaped daily and, thanks to its width, is very easy to overlook, which also makes it interesting for families with older kids. A highlight is the dedicated pro area, where teams and riders train regularly. Its perfect location, lots of sun and short access via the Alpe di Siusi lifts make the snowpark a must during your ski holiday.

Kastelruth is the best-known village at the foot of the Alpe di Siusi and combines a pretty, historic centre with good tourist infrastructure. From here you reach the Alpe di Siusi cable car in just a few minutes. Hotels, guesthouses and apartments are open all year round, along with cafés, small shops and events such as the Kastelruther Spatzen. Ideal for those who don’t stay directly on the plateau but still want to be close.

Siusi is especially convenient: the modern gondola to the Alpe di Siusi starts right here. The village is compact, well-kept and very much geared towards active holidaymakers – skiing in winter, hiking and biking in summer. In Siusi you’ll find several mid- and upper-range accommodations, restaurants, sports shops and a car-free access to the lifts. Perfect for those who like it quiet but not remote.

Fiè allo Sciliar lies a bit lower but is particularly sunny and offers wonderful views of the Sciliar and Catinaccio. The village is known for its well-maintained houses, good food and the Fiè lake in summer. In winter you simply drive to Siusi or to the Alpe di Siusi cable car and are on the slopes quickly. Fiè is ideal for connoisseurs who want to stay near the Dolomites without the hustle.

Tires lies on the other side of the Sciliar–Catinaccio massif and mainly appeals to nature and mountain lovers. The village is smaller and quieter than Castelrotto or Siusi, but offers an impressive Dolomite backdrop and good connections towards the Alpe di Siusi and Catinaccio. Many accommodations are family-run and focus on hiking and winter experiences right outside the door. Ideal for anyone who wants to
